October Ink is pregnant!!!

We were having a meeting one day and about to wrap up when Morgan says, “I have something to tell you… I’m pregnant”. We start celebrating over the phone and when Morgan says she’s due in September, Jayne laughs in reply, “Well, that makes 2 of us!” What are the chances? Ha ha.

We’re sooooo excited and wanted to share with everyone. Jayne is having a girl, and Morgan a boy. The fetuses are betrothed already. We will be taking a maternity break in September and then picking back up in October. We’ll keep you posted when the little ones arrive!

Salt City Emporium Branding

We had the opportunity of working with Salt City Emporium recently on their branding for their business. They create modern, on trend garments for the busy urban family… their “Salty Tot” leggings are to die for!

During the branding process we really focused on a more hip/industrial look, while keeping the designs fresh and modern with the color palette and graphic patterns. They were great to work with and we had a lot of creative fun on this project. Check out their Etsy shop to see more of their designs.

Prints for Brielle – Childhood Cancer Fundraiser

October Ink has joined the effort to help raise money for sweet 12 year old, Brielle. Brielle was just 10 years old when she was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML) in September 2010. Just two months after she was diagnosed, Brielle’s dad, Shawn, was also diagnosed with cancer. Brielle’s cancer has come back 3 times now and this time they have been told there is nothing more they can do. Regardless, this little girl and family are living life to the fullest and enjoying every moment together.

Chelsey Elizabeth Design

We had the privilege with working with the one and only Chelsey Rice Hale on her awesome new Interior Design Business! She’s been a dear friend of both of ours since as long as we both can remember and it was sooooo fun helping her brand her business! Plus, we couldn’t ask for better material to work with. : )

In our branding process we went with the symbol of a key to incorporate in her logo and branding elements because of its loaded underlying meaning that every interior must be reached with a key. With that we used gold in everything and gold foiled her business cards. If you ever have a chance to get one from her, do it! They are gorgeous.

We also made this lady of style her new website where she is offering her design services, E-design services, and selling really great designer pieces. Check it out at www.ChelseyElizabethDesign.com.

Moodboard | Vintage & Handmade

We have been pretty busy over here working on lots of new and exciting projects! We are especially excited about one of our current client’s moodboard… vintage with some handmade elements and textures, and just a touch of glamour. Isn’t the dark teal dreamy? We will also be helping them refresh their logo and build a new a brand new website. More to come!
